Dear Kindred Spirit,
Have you ever longed to step inside the pages of your favorite novel—to steal away to a grand estate, gather with kindred souls, and linger over tea and conversation as if time itself had slowed?
This summer, that longing becomes reality.
The Teapot Society’s: A Novel Escape is more than a retreat—it’s an invitation for all generations to step into a world of charm, depth, and connection. For three magical nights, we’ll gather in our historic Virginia manor, walking where history lingers, reading where great minds once thought, and forging friendships that feel as if they’ve always existed.
Moments that feel like a Jane Austen novel came to life.

MEET YOUR RETREAT HOST
Casey Cashell is a storyteller at heart, a content creator, and a homemaker with a passion for helping others use their God-given stories and homes to impact their families, local communities, and the world. She is also the founder of the Instagram Storytellers Academy, where she equips entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners to harness the power of social media—not for fleeting trends, but for eternal impact.
With four small children and a herd of goats in tow, she and her husband Jason, stepped into an extraordinary adventure— breathing a new chapter of life into Mayhurst Estate, a historic Victorian Italianate manor in Virginia, where they have merged their love for home, business, ministry and family into a one-of-a-kind retreat center.
One of Casey’s greatest joys has been cultivating an absolutely magical space for kindred souls from around the world to meet.
This is your chance to join in the magic.
A society united by a love for great books, conversations filled with depth, & a love for history. This summer, we’ll each immerse ourselves in Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice, reading it before the retreat. Then, on a most magical retreat night, we will curl up on blankets and in comfy chairs and watch the film together under twinkling lights in the Mayhurst garden.
