Nearby day activities include professionally guided plein air painting for private groups, restaurants, vineyards, horseback riding, antique and boutique shopping, historic tours, garden, and Estate walks at Montpelier, Monticello, and the Highlands, skydiving, fly fishing, Mountain hikes, and even hot air balloon rides. It is very conveniently located 5 minutes from a private airport, 45 minutes from Charlottesville, VA , and 1.5 hours from Washington, DC.

The Estate offers comfortable and elegant delegate accommodation (no single occupancy supplements). The Farmhouse is ideal for the organizing team if they need more space, and the Orangerie is ideal for small seminars and workshops. It is fully equipped for business meetings, with WIFI, a screen, a projector, and space for 45 people in theater-style seating. The Estate offers several reception rooms for hospitality and break-out meetings.
