Built-in 1859 as the Willis family’s private schoolhouse for their eight children, the Farmhouse Cottage perfectly envelopes the romance of a vintage country-side cottage.

Secluded across the grand boxwood hedge, just 300 feet away from the main house, this room is fully equipped with a queen-sized bed, central air, and a bathroom, including a tub-shower. It is a perfect, romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 

We have lovingly restored this beautiful old schoolhouse, preserving the old hand-hewed beams and architectural charms of a bygone age. A comfortable reading chair and dining table create an intimate space before the original wood-burning fireplace. The outdoor sitting area includes a personal hammock swaying gently under the towering pine trees, providing a peaceful view of the old estate barn and our exceptionally friendly momma & baby dairy goats. 

Though the Cottage includes a quaint kitchenette complete with sink, stove, and oven, a most delectable breakfast is served in the Main House.
